Received an Order from Hyundai Steel Company, Korea for Steel Making Plant of New Integrated Steel Mill at Dangjin Works

JP Steel Plantech Co. having its Head Office in Yokohama/Japan(hereinafter called as "Steel Plantech"), jointly with Mitsubishi Corporation, has been awarded a contract from Hyundai Steel Company (Head Office: Seoul, Korea) for supply of steel making plant with annual capacity of 8 million tons. This steel making plant will constitute the core of their New integrated steel mill at Dangjin Works.

Mitsubishi Corporation is a prime contractor and Steel Plantech will supply the engineering and the equipments for the plant. The supply scope contains Hot metal pretreatment equipments, Converters with its Off-gas recovery system (OG system) and Secondary refining equipments, ech's rich supply experience of steel making plant, price competitiveness and also the coordination by Mitsubishi Corporation.
