Heavy plate shearing line
A heavy plate shearing line is used to produce thick plate sheets, and the process requires a cooling bed, dividing shear, double side shear, crop shear, marking equipment, etc.
Although this may differ according to material, ordinarily, a heavy plate shear cuts plates of thickness 50 mm or less. There are several types of shears. For example, a crop shear is used for cutting off top and bottom end scraps; double side shear, for side plate trimming; slitting shear, for width dividing; and end shear, for length cut. A heavy plate shearing line involves several processes.
